We really need your support. Help the festival by hiring a deckchair for a price of your choosing. For extra generous friends or companies who donate 300 euros or more, we have deckchairs painted by artist Niels ‘Shoe’ Meulman from Unruly Gallery. You can also become a friend of Pluk de Nacht by means of a one-time or recurring direct debit.
Since 2003, Pluk de Nacht has been made possible by a large group of passionate volunteers, a modest grant and our wonderful sponsors with a big heart for culture. And of course by the enthusiastic audience who manage to find their way to our festival each year. Pluk de Nacht wants to be an annual festival that’s as good as it can be, with the best films and art being shown at an accessible location and in a relaxed summer environment.
The idea behind Pluk de Nacht is to create a non-profit and low budget opportunity for likeminded people to get together and organise a special event. Admission is free and will remain so, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need your help. We made donating as fun and as easy as possible. :
Rent a deckchair during the festival for a price of your choosing
Assure yourself of a comfortable seat (while supplies last) and support Pluk de Nacht while you do so. During the festival you can rent a deckchair beside the large screen for a price you determine yourself. You can also reserve one or two deckchairs online,

Besides deckchairs there are plenty of other seats on the grounds, so if you don’t want to donate you can still find a free seat. And of course you’re free to bring your own chair or pillow.
Donate 300 euros or more
For this eighth edition of the festival, Niels ‘Shoe’ Meulman will paint a series of 10 unique copies of the well-known deckchair. You can select one of these chairs as a thank-you for your donation. Keep an eye on this page, as you can see them here as soon as they’re ready.

Niels Shoe Meulman (Amsterdam 1967) is an internationally renowned artist. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others. He calls his current work
Calligraffiti, a fusion of calligraphy and graffiti.

You don’t want a chair, but you do want to donate?
If you don’t need a chair, but you still want to support us, you can do that via a one-time Paypal contribution. Of course Stichting Pluk de Nacht will handle your personal details discreetly, we only need them for administrative purposes. Because the use of iDeal and PayPal also cost us money, the minimum donation is 5 euros. Thanks in advance for your support!
